General Manager
Responsible for managing all aspects of dealership operations. Integrates corporate strategy, economic conditions, business trends and dealership resources into a vision for the dealership encompassing all departments. Constantly evaluates through the use of both tangible and intangible data the current operations and devises new and improved approaches to achieve excellence, maximize opportunities and minimizing risks.
Fullfills responsibility through the use of best practices. Plans, motivates and coordinates the activities of the management team.
General Sales Manager
Assumes responsibility for controlling and managing the sales process and outcomes. Fulfills responsibilities primarily through effective personnel management, knowledge of market potential and established performance standards.
Sales Manager
Responsible for developing a strategic approach that maximizes profit, customer retention and CSI in the sale of all vehicles. Determines the approach based upon the Sales Consultant, guest needs, and lease & manufacturers programs. Accomplishes this by adhereing to the Denny Hecker sales process and Best Practices.
Inventory Manager
This position’s main responsibility is maintaining the integrity of the vehicle inventory. Additional responsibilities include receiving vehicles in the Denny Hecker Reynolds and Reynolds system; reconciling vehicle inventory daily; conducting final quality control inspections on all retail vehicles; and staging and prepping vehicles for delivery. The Inventory Team also assists in on-site wholesale vehicle auctions. The Inventory Manager is required to assist in the hiring process and performance management of inventory associates.
Service Manager
This position is responsible for managing an auto service operation with maximum customer focus and efficient, high quality repairs; and a team of technicians and service consultants. Additional responsibilities include managing sublet vendor processes and warranty administration; mentoring and training service consultants; monitoring and managing CSI & FIR to be within company guidelines; and resolving customer issues that relate to service. The Service Manager will also assist in the hiring process and performance management of service consultants, technicians and warranty administrator.
Fleet Manager
Solicits commercial fleet accounts. Ensures quality deliveries of all fleet sales. Provides out of stock services for fleet accounts and local leasing companies. Follows up on dealership payment for delivered fleet, lease company, and commercial account vehicles routinely.
Internet Manager
Responsible for communicating effectively with Internet customers and prospects according to their preferred method of communication. Thorough knowledge of dealerships products and services. Satisfies the transportation needs of internet-generated customers. Assists customers select the correct vehicle for them. Maintains ongoing customer database to capture repeat customer, and establishes efficient and effective means of follow up.
Parts Manager
Responsibilities of a Parts Manager include maintaining parts inventory for all types of vehicles including stock levels, daily and special orders, and controlling aging & shrinkage. Parts managers assign parts to a vehicle stock number or RO, maintain vendor relations and hazardous disposal logs, and monitor quality and costs of parts. Parts managers also assist in the hiring process and performance management of inventory associates.

Accounting
Finance & Insurance
Responsible for the sale of all finance products and aftermarket sale items in accordance with Denny Hecker Standards and legal ethical business practices. Responsible for accurate paperwork, record keeping of all transactions and timely processing of all transactions.
Controller
Directs financial activities for the organization. Prepares or directs the preparation of, reports which summarize and forecast the company’s business activity and financial position in areas of income and expense, using data collected from past, present, and expected operations. Directs determination of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets. Individual must possess strong leadership skills and be able to organize, train, and supervise.
Office Manager
Performs any combination of following; calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. Fully experienced in all aspects of tag and title work. Notifies or locates customers with delinquent accounts and attempts to secure payment.
Business Development Center Coordinator
Works with Sales Consultants and Sales managers to maximize the customer traffic potential via sales and service prospecting and sales control system.
Develop daily work plans via Cowboy/Desk logs to ensure all Sales Consultants are maximizing all missed opportunities and keep in constant contact with the dealership owner base.
Receptionist
Receives incoming calls in a friendly manner, determines nature of business, directs callers to that destination. Operate a multi-line phone system. Minimize time callers are on hold and checks back with them frequently to ensure they wish to continue holding. Take detailed messages when call cannot be completed, including caller’s name, route to voice mail as appropriate. Able to perform clerical duties as needed.
Clerical
File Clerk
Files correspondence, cards, invoices, receipts and other records. Keeps files current and supplies information from file data. Disposes of obsolete files in accordance with our retirement schedule or legal requirements.
Title Clerk
Performs all title work for new and used vehicle sales, completes deposits. Handles dealer trade transactions, provides back up clerical support as needed. This position requires the ability to handle many different tasks with an ever-changing time frame.
Cashier
Prepares repair orders and parts invoices for customer pick up. Follow through with receipting and ringing up of invoices and all other post pick up steps. Prepares internal repair orders for posting. Processes service contract applications. Sort and file repair orders. Ability to take on other duties as required. Must be dedicated to friendly customer service, in a sometimes “hectic and stressful” environment.
Warranty Administrator
Prepares, records and reconciles warranty claims and submits them to the manufacturer. Processes claims, verifies information pertaining the claim, tracks parts, follows up with manufacturer on unpaid claims. Works closely with the body shop and management on any problem ticket warranty or extended warranty. General knowledge of automotive parts and customer relations experience.
Sales
Sales Consultant
Responsible for creating, building and servicing a book of business derived from past customers who have purchased vehicles from your dealership. Each customer's interactions with the dealership are to be maximized by the Sales Consultant including the scheduling of service appointments and follow-up on any customer-related issues. Sales Consultants are responsible for maintaining a professional and positive attitude through open, honest and sincere communication with customers, managers and co-workers. Maintain and update ongoing customer base and building returm business as a percentage of sales.
Service
Service Consultant
This position is responsible for scheduling repair appointments and greeting customers in service lanes. Additional responsibilities include generating estimates, writing repair orders, and following up with the customer.
Requirements include great communication skills and must be professional and courteous with a high commitment to exceptional customer service. Knowledge of vehicle repair and warranty work a plus.
Technician
The technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned according to dealer and manufacturer standards. The technician also diagnoses and repairs vehicles using special service tools and equipment while following published repair procedures. In addition, the Technician may oversee the work of an assigned apprentice. Responsibilities include receiving repair orders, diagnosing causes of malfunctions, test driving vehicles, performing work specified on repair order, vehicle examinations, supervision of all apprentice work. Must be willing to hold high standards, and attend and pass all required training programs.
Other
Driver
This position is responsible for driving customers to their homes and businesses and picking them when their vehicle is being repaired. Performs other duties as assigned. Helps answer phones when not busy.
Runner
Transports vehicles to and from one dealership to another. May drive customers vehicle to and from service area. Help with other duties as assigned.
Lot Technician
Verfies receipt of new cars delivered to the dealer and parks cars in new car lot in orderly manner. Compares serial numbers of incoming cars against invoice. Inspects cars to detect damage and to verify presence of accessories listed on invioce, such as spare tires and radio stereo equipment. Records description of damages and lists missing items on delivery receipts. Places buyers guides and stock tags in vehicle as needed. Able to perform miscellaneous duties as needed.
Auto Body Painter
Paints surfaces of vehicles.
Detailer
Renovates cars for sale resale, inspects for noticeable defects such as dents, scratches, torn and upholstery. Cleans and vacuums interiors. Washes and polishes exteriors. Replaces missing or defective small parts.
Greeter
The Greeter serves as a front-line representative for the dealership. THis person is responsible for greeting guests in a professional, friendly and efficient manner. He/she is also responsible for tracking guests as they enter the show floor, providing them informational brochures regarding the sales process, obtaining demograophic information about each guest to allow sales follow-up and tracking, answer basic inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate party.
